Synopsis:
L’histoire se déroule dans un monde parallèle et met en scène un jeune homme nommé Gai.
Gai est un enfant autrefois trouvé dans la forêt près du corps d’une femme inconnue. Le forgeron Amon, qui l’a recueilli à l’époque, a fait de lui son apprenti : il lui a transmis les techniques permettant de forger les sabres.
Mais un jour, alors qu’il est en train de travailler, Gai est victime d’un accident et perd son bras droit. Pour lui permettre de survivre, Amon décide alors de remplacer le membre perdu par une épée maléfique baptisée Shiryû.
